Coursework Format Pre-Summer Prep Task
Just before we broke up for summer, we were tasked to create a scene based off a given scenario, either in the form of a screenplay or a storyboard, to help us start to consider which approach we wanted to take with our coursework next term. I decide for this task I was going to choose screenplay in order to give myself a small heads up on the proper formatting used to write screenplays. That way, it wouldn't be completely alien to me if I were to choose to write a screenplay next term.
Below is the scenario I chose, followed by my scene; enjoy :)

Task
choose a single bullet point within the
scenario you have chosen.
create ONE short scene for your chosen
part of the short film following either a screenplay
format or a storyboard
format.
Scenario 1
§ A character is
confined - some sort of imprisonment (psychological, physical). The character
makes a decision to escape. The scene ends with his/her discovery of an
opportunity for escape that sets up a deadline.
§ The planning and
preparations for the escape have been made, but something goes wrong and the
character is forced to adjust his plan.
§ Execution of the
escape. What happens? Resolution. Did the character escape; is he okay? Was the
escape a total success?

Thanks for the tea.

I like the mood you have created here with minimal dialogue. Your consideration of sound and use of the screenplay format is very good.
